ফাইটোক্লিন পটাশিয়াম সল্ট অফ ফ্যাটি এসিড এর সহযোগে প্রস্তুতকৃত একটি হর্টিকালচারাল সোপ যা গাছে উপস্থিত পাতলা বহিরাবরণ যুক্ত পোকামাকড় মেরে ফেলে এবং ফল ও পাতার উপরিভাগের ধুলাবালি ও ময়লার আবরণ পরিষ্কার করতে সাহায্য করে। ফাইটোক্লিন সম্পূর্ণ প্রাকৃতিক উপাদানে তৈরি একটি জৈব বালাইনাশক যা উদ্ভিদ, মানুষ ও অন্যান্য প্রাণীর জন্য সম্পূর্ণ নিরাপদ।

ফাইটোক্লিন যেভাবে কাজ করে:
ফাইটোক্লিন পাতা ও গাছে উপস্থিত পাতলা বহিরাবরণ যুক্ত পোকামাকড়, যেমন- জাবপোকা, মিলিবাগ, সাদামাছি এবং থ্রিপস এর শরীরের উপরের পাতলা মোমের আবরণকে (কিউটিকল) দ্রবীভূত করে ফেলে যার ফলে পোকার শরীরের অভ্যন্তরীণ তরল পদার্থ বের হয়ে যায় ফলে পোকা পানিশূন্যতায় শুকিয়ে মারা যায়।
